Prayer: Waiting on God

Lord, I wait on You. Help me rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him. Do not let me fret or envy those who prosper by wicked ways. Teach me to cease from anger and to trust Your timing, even when the path seems slow. Remind me that evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait upon the LORD shall inherit the earth. Grant me patience, courage, and faith to live faithfully today, trusting that You are shaping my steps for Your good purposes. In Jesus' name, Amen.
